Integrated, Bracketless, Automated Valve Controls
With the introduction of ISO 5211 and NAMUR standards, the valve industry has taken steps to standardize accessory mounting. With four new combinations of mounting configurations, end-users can now mount topworks - limit switch boxes, solenoid valves and positioners - directly to any actuator conforming to these standards.
The first step in doing so is removing bracketry altogether. This step can be accomplished through unique enclosure designs. Other ways to allow for quick turnaround are setting position switches without entering the enclosure and 360o adjustability.
Keep in mind also that most products falling under the category of "valve position monitoring" only include mechanical visual monitoring. This feature is sufficient for highly lit areas or during daytime hours. But visibility at nighttime or in darkened areas is a feature that is greatly needed to ensure the safety of the product as well as the work area.
Integrating valves into Limit Switch boxes has always been an afterthought. Designing a low-power, high-flow rate valve directly into the design of an enclosure increases reliability, saves space and enhances the aesthetics of the product and the area.

Integrated Valve Control
The Integrated Valve Controller (IVC) is the world's first direct mount valve controller. There are four key components to the IVC:

Position Monitoring.
Low Power Control: Using our LP2 solenoid valve requires less than 10% of the power of conventional solenoid valves and half the size and weight of typical solenoid valves.
Low Profile/Direct Mounting: Our low profile mounting allows your products to directly mount to any ISO/NAMUR valve actuators. You will also use 50% less space than conventional valve position monitors.
Lighted Visual Confirmation: Lumitech's BriteLites offer dual LED position indicators, high intensity diodes visible at 150 feet and reliable position indication - day or night.
Position Monitoring: GO Switch products offer advanced sensor technologies, hermetic dry-seal contact and solid-state output.
Puck Position Monitors
Lumitech Puck Position Monitors answer real world needs with an inventive design that creates space-saving, cost effective solutions for every field environment. Each Puck features a remarkably low profile enclosure that mounts directly to any ISO/NAMUR valve actuator. The elimination of cumbersome bracket systems results in considerable economic benefits both in initial cost savings and in installation cost reductions.
All Pucks - 4X, XP, IS and SS - utilize advanced sensor technology from GO Switch and have WorkHorse hermetically-sealed dry contact and MagState solid state output options.
The 4X (Corrosion Resistant) Puck has a high impact resin enclosure and features BriteLite LED position indicators that provide triple redundant valve position confirmation - mechanical, electrical and lighted.
The XP (Explosion Proof) Puck has an enclosure that is chemically treated and epoxy coated to withstand the harsh NEMA 4, 4X, 7 and 9 explosive environments.
Additionally, we carry Intrinsically Safe (IS) and Stainless Steel (SS) Pucks that offer many of these features.
Luminator - Lighted Linear Position Sensors
Our Luminator series is the world's first linear position sensor with triaxial LEDs. It combines revolutionary BriteLite LED visual position indicators and proven GO Switch sensor technology - all in an affordable package that cuts installation time while improving plant safety and awareness.
All Luminators contain a GO Switch operating mechanism completely encapsulated and sealed from the environment in a 316 Stainless Steel enclosure. In response to global needs, the Luminator has two sensor options: WorkHorse hermetically-sealed dry contact and MagState solid state output. Options available for Luminators are 4X (General Purpose), XP (Explosion Proof) and IS (Intrinsically Safe).
